The One Thing We Need Most After the Palisades Fire with Adam Wolfson

Everyone in the Pacific Palisades knows The Yogurt Shoppe….

The Yogurt Shoppe, right across from the village, was more than just a place to serve toppings. It was where first dates unfolded, after‑school stories got told, and families (like mine) gathered on that bench after dinner or a baseball game to savor the small moments.

The Yogurt Shoppe is just one example of many small businesses whose business burned to the ground Jan 7th and are navigating what comes next.

I recently had the chance to sit down with owner and fellow Palisades dad, Adam Wolfson.

We talk about what it’s like to lose more than a business, about how trauma shifts family rhythms, and rips routines.

But beyond that Adam shares a unique perspective on what we really need and what really matters when we are navigating trauma and challenging times…

Something we all can learn from.
Something we all can share.

This conversation is for anyone who has been through hard times, or just needs a recalibration and a reminder of what really matters.

Drop a note to Adam at @theyogurtshoppe to let him know you care.

Let’s rise together.

Story by story.
Step by step.
Brick by brick.
