It’s been nearly 3 months since I stood and watched my home burn down. And today… it still looks exactly the same.
We’re still waiting…
▪️ For debris to be cleared.
▪️ For a sign it’s safe.
▪️ For roads to reopen.
▪️ For real communication.
▪️ For any sign of true forward motion.
Everyone keeps talking about “the rebuild.” But here’s the truth:
Before we rebuild homes, we have to rebuild something deeper.
We have to rebuild confidence.
We have to rebuild hope.
And that starts with real collaboration and clear communication.
Right now, the policies meant to help – insurance, city, state – are doing the opposite.
They’re hurting us.
The LA rebuild must rise above politics.
It has to be about people – the thousands of families like mine, forced to navigate a new reality we never asked for.
We need partnership.
We need solutions.
And most of all – we need leadership.
Not just in title, but in action.
At every level.
If there’s one thing I know for sure – it’s this: The Palisades community is full of smart, resilient, and ready people.
But we can’t do this alone.
We need clarity.
We need coverage.
We need capital.
And we need it now.
If you’ve felt the weight of the waiting… the frustration… the uncertainty…
You’re not alone.
If you believe in rebuilding trust,
In choosing unity over division,
In putting people first…
Then please share this.
Every voice adds momentum.
Every share can help open a door to real change.
Brick by brick.

Thanks to @foxandfriends for having me on.
(And yeah… sorry for the long post. There’s so much more on my heart that I didn’t get to say in the live interview. Might share more soon—including what I’m hearing from so many within the community on suggested next steps and how we move forward, together.)
