Lessons Wrapped in Tragedy

Some gifts come wrapped in tragedy…

Receiving The Oswald Award from the Pruvit community is an honor I hold close to my heart.

The award itself represents our ability to persevere through our darkest times. To me, accepting the award was about accepting it on behalf of each and everyone of us.

Because I know that my story is just a reflection of the common stories we all go through and share.

There is so much that I feel I have learned over the past two plus months, and am still learning more each day.

I know real strength isn’t just about fighting until you win. It’s about learning when to surrender, knowing it’s okay to do so… and still choosing to move forward.

Loss will test you.

It will ask you who you really are.

And if you let it, it will also reveal what truly matters.

Faith. Family. Community. The things no fire can ever take.

So if you’re walking through your own fire right now – keep walking.

Keep trusting. One day, the dots will connect, and you’ll understand why.

Comment if this speaks to you.

Share this video to pass on the impact.

Thank you to @brianundy and the @justpruvit community for this award – it’s the first and only one I have sitting on my new desk.
