41 days later. The world moves on… But for our community, for our family – this is still our reality.
It’s like a bomb went off, and we’re all just figuring out where to go from here.
And in the chaos, I’ve learned to hate the question: “How are you?”
Because honestly? I don’t always know how to answer.
We’re doing. Brick by brick. Day by day.
But here’s what I do know:
Every single message, every prayer, every small act of kindness – it matters.
I read them. I feel them.
The clothes on our backs, the things in our temporary home – almost all of them came from someone who cared. Friends, family, strangers. People I’ve never met and may never meet.
And every time I look around, it’s like a giant, warm hug. A reminder that we’re not alone.
So this is just a moment to pause – to say thank you.
Not just for what you’ve done for my family, but for the love I know so many of you are giving to others who are facing their own seasons of hard.
Keep showing up for each other. Keep spreading love. It makes all the difference.
Drop a ❤️ in the comments if you’re walking through something hard right now.
You’re not alone.
Thank you and please share this with anyone walking this path with us.
